The Jameson Basketball shot breakdown service is an exceptional way for serious basketball players to improve their shooting mechanics and habits. How your shot “feels” is not always how your shot “looks”. Our shot analysis process will provide you with the necessary feedback to become a better shooter.
HOW IT WORKS
STEP 1 – Complete the “Shot Analysis Form” and submit payment.
STEP 2 – Submit your film to Jameson Basketball.
- Option #1 Email video to JayMJameson22@aol.com
- Option #2 Send us a shareable link like Youtube so we can view / gather the footage.
- Other methods can be used if these dont work for you… contact us
STEP 3 – JJ will review the footage submitted and do a thorough analysis of the shots.
STEP 4 – Once JJs notes and analysis are complete he will work with our video editing team to provide a detailed follow up using the original video footage. This will include a variety of methods to convey the follow up and feedback.
STEP 5 – We send you the feedback! Make sure you review and study the notes provided in the follow up report.
PRICING – $40 Per video submission
VIDEO SHOOTING STEPS
Step 1 – Record the shooter from straight-on taking about 5 shots with their feet planted. Take each shot from only a few feet away shooting straight towards the basket. These should be a set shot with no jump. Do the same thing but film the shooter from a sideview. Dont forget, stay close to the basket and keep your feet planted.
Step 2 – Use the same two different shooting angles used in the first step, straight-on and sideview but this time take a jump shot instead of a set shot with your feet planted. Take about 5 shots from that straight-on and sideview.
Step 3 (Optional) – This time you are going to take about 5 shots from behind the three point line. Again, be sure to record the shooter from both straight-on and sideview. Dont worry about setting your feet vs jumping. Take your natural shot and we will give you the feedback you need!
